Scientific Approach to English Education

In order to create the targeted English language proficiency, use and development, our language program is based on research to provide efficiency in two main areas:

  • How is an effective learning
  • Productive student / participant

The success of the participant in language education is to increase motivation and gain awareness of language learning, which is also a scientific method. With the program we implement in this direction, it enables the participants to improve their speaking, writing, reading and comprehension skills in order to require their English learning and abilities, regardless of their age and capability. According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which learns the English skills we apply at the beginning of the program, we determine the English language and list it in the development section.

At LanguageUK, we adopt scientific education with success in English language education in order to increase the motivation of the participant by creating productivity and to raise the awareness of learning language. For this reason, our instructors offer a student-focused training program that offers the most accurate to the pedagogical approach, and envisages effective participation and practice from the student. In addition to the difficulties encountered in second language learning, individual academic transformation consultancy is highly emphasized in the program we offer, as the purpose, personal of professional expectations and learning background of a participant in English language education will be completely different.

Program Process and Our Approach to Class Hours

How much time should be spent on learning a foreign language and how many hours an effective course program should consist of depends on the individual study time allocated by the student, equivalent to the effectiveness of the training program offered above. As a scientific fact, achieving success in foreign language education and learning will be possible by reinforcing the one-to-one lesson on classroom environment work offered by the instructor with the student’s own individual work.

In other words, achieving the goal in language education requires the integration of the lessons attended with the individual work of the student. For this reason, the LanguageUK program offers you a program with the “Blended Learning” technique, which anticipates the success of this integration. The Learning Management System (LMS) on the “Macmillan English Campus” is a platform that has been successfully used around the world, focused on this goal. On this competent teaching platform, activities for strengthening all basic language skills, texts and exercises that can be selected according to different levels and vocabulary are presented. Our instructors will regularly follow the progress of the student on the LMS, report it and discuss the results with the student.

Various factors such as the student’s motivation and capability for language learning can lead to changes in the individual study time that will lead to the completion of the English program. Particularly, the individual study time that the student will spend within the program at the beginner levels ( such as transition from A1 to A2 at the CEFR language level, which LanguageUK also pursues in its programs) is naturally will be more. For this purpose, in the program proposals we have sent to you, in our MacMillan Education Campus learning management system, which the student must follow on his own, the optimum time for individual work is presented according to the CEFR level.

In our language school, we have the belief that an effective and target-oriented language education program can only be; working in the classroom with an experienced instructor, continuing individual work on a successful learning management system, and regular follow-up, measurement and evaluation of their development by the instructor.
