40+ English and Culture

Join us on one of our 40+English courses. A great way to spend a week or two practising your English
Over 40s English

This course is for those adults who would like to learn more about British culture and traditions improving their knowledge of the English language and becoming more confident when using it in conversations.

The course focuses mainly on speaking, listening and fluency skills. There will be many opportunities to discuss a variety of interesting topics and expand students’ vocabulary, enriching it with many colloquial expressions that are currently heard and used in English. This is because we want to make sure that participants learn and better understand expressions that are commonly used, so as to make them sound more natural in social interactions.

As for all of our courses, there will be plenty of opportunities to interact with other participants, socialising and learning many facts about the British and their culture. Habits and traditions will be discovered during the course and linked to the afternoon activities which are an extension of their morning classes.
